RAFA NADAL ACADEMY CHOOSES FORMA HEALTH

After more than three years of close collaboration, the Academy is joining Forma Health to look after its players' health, prevent injuries and safely boost their performance.

We are thrilled to share the news: we have signed an agreement with the Rafa Nadal Academy to work together on caring for the health of its players.

The methodology that Dr. Ángel Ruiz-Cotorro and his team have applied for more than four decades with the world's best tennis players, more than fifty of them in the top 10, has allowed us to bring, through technology, all the experience of elite athletes to young players still in development.

Forma collects, brings together and organises each player's data, from training and from medical tests, and interprets it with medical judgement. That way the team knows how each player is doing and when it makes sense to push or to hold back.

With this agreement, the Academy takes the lead in a project that is unique in sport. Every player will have daily medical follow-up, built on their own data.

"If a player gets injured, there is no continuity, and without continuity you cannot perform. Through prevention we achieve performance."
Dr. Ángel Ruiz-Cotorro, founder of Forma Health.

"What started as a dream three years ago has now become a reality. It is a great satisfaction for me to be part of the project, not only as a friend but also as a professional."
Rafael Nadal, founder and ambassador of Forma.
